In the light of the continued successful roll out of the vaccine, and the reduction in infection rates, we have decided to re-start our services in our church buildings as of Sunday 14th March with a Mothering Sunday service in Eldersfield Church. We will continue to alternate Sunday services in building with our online services on Phone Church via Zoom and continue to hold Phone Church services at 11am every Wednesday and 7pm every Friday – click here for details on how to join us.
More good news is that our churches are still able to be open for private prayer, so The Church of the Redeemer, Pendock Cross will be open Tuesday to Thursday 10am to 4pm, with All Saints, Hollybush open Friday to Monday also 10am to 4pm. In addition we are still able to hold funeral services, but with numbers restricted to 30 and only in those churches where we have sufficient space to allow for social distancing. Weddings can take place in exceptional circumstances and are limited to 6 people. However, we now have a roadmap and dates for re-starting weddings with limited numbers in attendance, which is wonderful news. Please see our weddings page for more details. We look forward to welcoming you back into our churches soon!
Our Benefice covers the five parishes of Berrow, Pendock, Eldersfield, Birtsmorton and Hollybush that run along the south western-most boundary of the Diocese of Worcester.
