Come and join us at St Faith’s Church, Berrow at 10am on Christmas Day to celebrate the birth of Jesus, the baby in the manger. Rev Julie will lead us in a family friendly service – bring along your best present to show her! You’ll also need to bring along a face covering to wear whilst in Church, and numbers will be limited to those we can safely accommodate with social distancing so get there early to secure your pew. Your service sheet can be viewed or downloaded here in landscape format or here in portrait format and if you are able to print off your own sheet to bring along, that would be grand. Otherwise, spares will be available on the day. We look forward to welcoming you to celebrate the Saviour’s birth, and to wish you a very Merry Christmas!
At the moment of writing, we are able to meet together at 11.30pm on Christmas Eve at Eldersfield Church to celebrate the birth of Jesus in our service of Midnight Mass. Numbers will be limited to those we can safely accommodate with social distancing so get there early to secure a pew! Please do make sure you bring along a face covering to wear while in Church. Your service sheet can be viewed or downloaded here, and if you can print your own copy to bring along with you that would be ideal, although we will have spares available on the night. We look forward to welcoming you to this very special traditional service as we come to the end of this strangest of years.
We’re really going to miss our normal Crib and Christingle service, with all of you crammed into Eldersfield Church, but for obvious reasons that’s not possible this Christmas. However, we’re going to do the best we can online with Rev Julie leading us at 5pm on Christmas Eve on Phone Church via Zoom. And, our lovely local schools at Pendock and Eldersfield have each recorded a festive song for us which we’re going to share as part of the service, which is brilliant. We do hope you can join us, and bring your own Christingle along to show everyone! Your service sheet can be viewed or downloaded here.
We will, as ever, be trying to raise money for the Children’s Society – if you are able to please go online to https://thyg.uk/CUS053178 and whatever you are able to give to this very worthy cause will be very gratefully received
